The worst job I've had

I once worked in a milkshake shop, and it definitely did not bring all the boys to the yard. The mixture of summer, teenagers and milkshakes resulted in hours and hours of washing up - I was only trusted to make an actual milkshake after two months of being there!

Job description

In this Data Analyst job, you will be supporting decision-making based on data analysis and the development of business insights from different data sets. You will be working to analyse campaign performance within programmatic campaigns, and using your knowledge of campaign analytics to advise clients and internal team of campaign strategy. This role will involve not only analysis and interpretation of data sources but also adding value through the campaign insights you find.

Key responsibilities

In this Data Analyst job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing the data found from media software
  • Creating pixels and conducting pixel audits
  • Testing and analysing outputs
  • Identifying issues, finding solutions and coordinating for resolution
  • Supporting and engaging with product, client agency teams and engineers to support data insights
  • Regularly creating insights reports and recommendations
  • Being part of a broader company wide effort to drive development of analytical best practices

So, what are we looking for?

  • Educated to degree level with at least a 2.1 from a top university
  • An analytical mind - someone who is numerically driven
  • Some previous experience as a data analyst
  • Excellent levels of Excel skills and the ability to construct formulas
  • Experience working as part of a wider analytics team
  • An interest in digital media is a bonus
  • Fantastic communication skills, both written and verbal

In this Business Development Manager job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding new topics, industries, market audiences and potential suppliers quickly
  • Identifying the key sectors to sell into and building and maintaining a healthy pipeline of qualified leads
  • Exceeding agreed revenue targets for each conference and maximising revenue from each brand new deal as well as previous sponsors
  • Account management of current clients including forward selling and creating strong relationships with senior level decision makers
  • Making between 80-120 calls a day
  • Writing bespoke sponsorship packages as well as some marketing and copywriting
  • Arranging and conducting face-to-face client meetings
  • Working closely with the marketing, production and operations team
  • Running the conference and exceeding clients’ expectations on the actual day of the conference

  • 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales across sponsorship or delegate sales
