As Give A Grad A Go's Team Leader, I am responsible for leading a team of four Consultants and two Resourcers. It’s my job to make sure that my team are supported, getting all the help they need in order to grow within the business, as well as managing my own client base.

My area of expertise

My team and I work with clients within a huge array of sectors - including FinTech, Recruitment, FMCG and Retail to name a few. We are also building a solid client base within some emerging markets including MedTech, HealthTech, EdTech and InsurTech (everything tech!)

After spending 3 memorable hours in the office, Cary offered me a job and I accepted straight away! I’ve now been here for 3 years - and counting!

The worst job I've had

Every summer I worked on a local farm as a waitress. The role had it perks (lots of hefty bacon butties) - but mucking out the barns and the smell of manure really took its toll....

Job description

In this Account Executive graduate job, you will be working with your own set of clients and helping to develop strategic plans, while also assisting the media team with their plans. You will be responsible for helping clients grow their businesses by using customer data to deliver a cohesive, evidence-based marketing strategy. With a client list to kill for, you will be tasked with providing the best service possible to optimise clients’ growth, managing client relationships, guiding them through the process and ensuring they understand the return on investment.

Key responsibilities

In this Account Executive graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with Client Directors to ensure that the client workflow schedules are up to date and accurate
  • Learning how to develop the best communication strategy for a client – using historical analysis and current customer behaviour to create and update direct mail and email circulation plans
  • Using forecasting models to predict future sales based on different levels of marketing investment and providing recommendations around such forecasts
  • Setting monthly agendas, planning meeting content and objectives, and creating monthly presentations
  • Conducting data analysis across the business to build a compelling story for internal & external stakeholders identifying tactical and strategic opportunities
  • Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders – plus ensuring that clients understand ROI
  • Creating and executing cross channel media plans
  • Planning across direct mail, door drops, inserts and press ads

So, what are we looking for?

  • A minimum of a 2.1 from a top university
  • An analytical degree (Maths or Science-based) is desirable
  • Strong numerical ability- you’ll need to be comfortable with numbers and able to spot trends and errors with sums quickly, with a logical mind and approach to problem-solving
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills - especially in Excel
  • A confident presenter who can articulate their ideas clearly to internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle many projects with tight deadlines
  • A keen interest in marketing and media

  • Comfortable with statistics and a strong analytical ability

  • Previous experience with XLS and / or PPTX would be an added bonus!
