Regular client interaction and liaising with our team internally ensures that the right graduates are being introduced to these companies at the right time.

Why I chose to work at Give A Grad A Go

I came to Give A Grad A Go as a graduate 4 years ago in the hope of finding a role within Marketing & Advertising or PR & Communications in London. It quickly became clear that what I was really looking for was a chance to communicate with these industries rather than work within them. I was really sold by the Give A Grad A Go culture and opportunity to develop quickly and build up an exciting portfolio of clients I could manage. The worst job I've had

I found myself working in the energy industry before I worked at Give A Grad A Go. It was really interesting to learn more about energy, but setting margins for huge corporate energy tenders felt a little bit out of my comfort zone!

Job description

In this Media Analyst graduate job, you will be working on key client accounts within the FMCG sector and helping to transform new briefs into successful campaigns. Working with shopper marketeers, you will help them to deliver and demonstrate an increasing return on shopper media investment including in-store, online and geo-targeted opportunities. You will gain invaluable experience working with top FMCG brands, completing data-led shopper media campaigns and implementing and coordinating campaigns – as well as building and maintaining relationships with a number of clients and key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

In this Media Analyst graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning media buying and management across defined clients / campaigns
  • Active delivery of evaluation output and recommendations to clients
  • Understanding agency commercials, contributing to margin and revenue targets
  • Managing relationships across defined client contacts within the FMCG sector
  • Preparing for and attending client meetings
  • Supporting the creation of data led, media recommendations considering all shopper opportunities
  • Supporting the company’s software development team through regular product testing
  • Offering support to the wider team as required
  • Contributing to wider organisational projects, helping create a great workplace

  • A 2.1 degree or higher from a top university
  • A strong numerical & Excel skillset is a must
  • The ability to work with statistical data and recognise averages and trends
  • The ability to build and nurture strong relations
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude in all environments, with a strong will to succeed
  • An efficient and pragmatic approach to work, with the ability to meet deadlines with ease
  • An ambitious nature with a desire to work in a growth focused business
  • Great organisational skills
  • An excellent attention to detail

  • A competitive starting salary of 24,000 with a discretionary bonus available at 20% of your basic salary as you progress
