Job description

In this Account Executive graduate job, you will be reporting to the Head of Client Management, and supporting Client Directors on all aspects of commercial and client objectives. You will be responsible for helping clients grow their businesses by using customer data to deliver a cohesive, evidence-based marketing strategy. With a client list to kill for, you will be tasked with providing the best service possible to optimise clients’ growth, managing client relationships, guiding them through the process and ensuring they understand the return on investment. You will working to achieve client goals whilst managing probability; so will need to be highly analytical, and possess fantastic client-relationship management skills.

Please note: They are planning to hold a Graduate Day on 6th December. To be considered for this role, you will need to be available to attend, if successful at the telephone interview stage.

Key responsibilities

In this Account Executive graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

• Creating and updating project plans, based on historical analysis and current customer behavior
• Setting communication strategies and circulation plans for clients
• Leading client meetings with the support of Client Directors
• Interpreting reports and analysis with a clear and easy to understand approach
• Using forecasting models to predict future sales based on different levels of marketing investment and varying performance scenarios
• Acting as the very first point of contact for all client queries
• Ensuring that schedules are shared to avoid any confusion
• Ad hoc requests and providing feedback results to the client

Job requirements

• A minimum of a 2.1 from a top university
• An analytical degree (Maths or Science-based) is desirable
• Strong Excel skills – you will be using this a lot in your work
• Strong numerical ability- you’ll need to be comfortable with numbers and able to spot trends and errors with sums quickly, with a logical mind and approach to problem-solving
• A confident presenter who can articulate their ideas clearly to internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle many projects with tight deadlines
• A keen interest in marketing and media
