Job description - Business Development Executive

In this London-based Sales opportunity, the successful graduate can expect to work in a fast-paced environment for one of the UK’s leading engineering startups. There is a lot of scope for responsibility and the individual should be comfortable with taking ownership of (and managing) multiple demands required in a startup.

The right graduate will be responsible for designing and driving a comprehensive demand generation strategy, lead gen all the way through to a Qualified Opportunity. Targeting agreed segments or territories, you will be a driving force behind Geomiq’s success.

Key responsibilities - Business Development Executive

In this Business Development job you will be:

  • Keeping on top of your KPIs
  • Fully involved with the Sales Development process, from unearthing fresh opportunities to converting them to a fully qualified lead
  • Sourcing leads from a variety of sources such as LinkedIn or tradeshows
  • Responsible for maintaining the company’s CRM
  • Various ad hoc activities

Job requirements - Business Development Executive

  • B2B or B2C Sales experience
  • Tele-Sales experience
  • F2F Sales experience
  • Commercial knowledge and understanding of outbound sales
  • Sales brokering
  • Upsell through account management
  • Effectively using CRM systems
