Job Description

In this Graduate Instructional Designer job in London, we are looking for an instructional designer to join this busy team. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Training and will be responsible for designing courseware from storyboarding through to course delivery. Your main focus will be on eLearning course development along with some in-person training too. Ideally candidates will have previous eLearning experience from designing storyboards, scripts right through to delivery of the product. Experience using Captivate is an advantage but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities in this Instructional Designing job in London, will be:

  • Take charge of the process of building and developing eLearning courses
  • Designing and developing training courses and material
  • From storyboarding and scripting to visual design and delivery
  • To learn the company platform in line with regular software updates
  • Maintain up to date courseware for delivery
  • Manage and maintain live projects in preparation for training delivery
  • Deliver in-person training from time (onsite and remote)

Job Requirements

  • A 2:1 degree from university
  • Experience designing storyboards, training exercises and visual output (use of Captivate is an advantage but not necessary)
  • Keen interest in cloud technology
  • Ability to work within a team, as well as managing personal workload across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form with colleagues and clients to a high standard
  • Competent use of MS Office software
  • Ideally, candidates will have some teacher or training experience preferably in IT; formal teacher/trainer qualifications is a plus
