Job description

In this Graduate Software Developer role, you will join the team in their London office, but will be reporting to both the London office and a manager in Canada. You will be supported in learning new skills but will also need to be an autonomous worker with an interest in the world of finance. You will be using .NET, JavaScript and SQL to begin with, and over time will develop into a full-stack role. The progression is there for those that are motivated, and 2 years in you could be a manager yourself.

Key responsibilities

In this Graduate Software Developer graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Using a host of technical skills including .NET, JavaScript (+frameworks), SQL framework
  • Helping resolve hardware issues when necessary
  • Translating financial information into a technical setting
  • Developing further technical languages and skills
  • Undertaking ad hoc duties as and when required

Job requirements

  • A minimum of a 2.1 from a top university
  • Knowledge of .NET, JavaScript and SQL ideally
  • Some knowledge of finance ideally
  • Able to solve mathematical problems
  • The confidence to work both autonomously and as part of a team
