Job Description

In this Graduate Project Engineer role in London, you will join the rapidly growing Fibre Department, reporting directly into the Head of Fibre and Business Lead. The role will offer exposure to all areas of planning, installation, and delivery of fibre services in London (and beyond)! You will be trained in various technical tools, equipped with the ability to conduct surveys around London, laying the groundwork for our client’s development of their fibre network. This role will combine office work with moving around London, allowing you to feel the literal impact of you work within weeks! This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone with an interest in upskilling in Planning and best practice.

Key Responsibilities

In this Graduate Engineer role focused on Project Deliver/Planning, your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking ownership of the execution and delivery of planning requirements across London
  • Conducting surveys alongside experienced Engineers
  • Creating efficient and accurate reports on surveys conducted, presenting back to key members of the team
  • Working to continually improve the Engineering process, procedures and methods
  • Upskilling in GIS software and tools, in line with working on more upcoming projects

Job Requirements

  • Exceptional academic background in Mathematics, Physics, Geography, or a relatable Engineering subject. Other relevant subjects may be considered if the relevant skillset is met
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Fantastic communicator, the ability to express complex information concisely across the business
  • A self-starter, someone who is going to harness their natural curiosity to contribute to the process and grow with the company
