Job description

In this Fleet Assistant graduate job, you will be acting as a vital point of information within the business. You will be responsible for getting out and about all over London and performing technical repairs and safety checks on the fleet of over 480 vehicles. Being the eyes and ears of the business, you will need to be a self-starter with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail, as your reports back to HQ will play an essential role in the day to day operations of the business.

Please note: The successful candidate must have a full, clean driving license.

Key responsibilities

In this Fleet Assistant job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Look after a fleet of vehicles across London
  • Be first-hand support for the movement and logistics of the fleet
  • Attending vehicles for technical inspections
  • Reporting and resolving vehicle damage
  • Collecting vehicles from body shops / dealership / forced recovery
  • Performing battery recharges, key collection from customers or any other issue that may need on-site assistance

Job requirements

  • You must be safe driver, with a full, clean licence
  • You'll need to be able work under pressure
  • You'll be a detail-oriented problem solver
  • You'll be both reliable, and trustworthy with valuable company assets
  • A desire to learn and improve knowledge on motor vehicles
  • You will need to be available to work some weekends - your working day will be 10am – 7pm
  • A super executor and know how to get things done
  • The ability to work independently, take the initiative and ownership of assignments or problems encountered
