Founded in 2006, this company provides mobile payments and messaging services for clients across media, telecoms, entertainment, enterprise and commerce. When consumers make payments, they are charged to their mobile phone bill. This service can be used for ticketing, content, cash deposits and charity donations. The service works by charging digital payments to the mobile phone bill, either via carrier billing or SMS billing. The business also offers messaging solutions. Job description – Junior Analyst

In this varied role, you’ll be responsible for preparing various reports and analyses for clients, the management team and wider business. You'd also be responsible for processing, reconciling and analysing the Mobile Operator and Merchant billing data. This would include exporting large data sets from the messaging gateway and other sources and combining this data with pricing information to determine customer and supplier statements/invoices. You’ll re-work data from their database and write reports on this, as well as gaining a wide range of exposure to the finance side of the business.

Key responsibilities – Junior Analyst

In this Analyst job, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing reports and analyses for clients, the management team and the wider business
• Processing, reconciling and analysing mobile operator and merchant billing data
• Exporting large data sets, and combining this data with pricing information to determine customer and supplier statements/invoices
• Exporting data from databases and re-working it into a usable format, as well as writing reports on and analysing
• Wide exposure to the finance side of the business

Job requirements – Junior Analyst

• A minimum of a 2.1 degree, within an analytical subject, such as economics, maths, engineering, sciences etc
• Good understanding of excel, including VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS and Pivot Tables
• Great attention to detail
• An analytical mind
• Strong problem-solving skills
