Having already received big investment, the company’s growth is showing no signs of slowing – and they are now seeking an ambitious and self-driven Business Development Executive to join their burgeoning London team.

Job Description

In this Sales Manager job, you will be working alongside the account management and marketing teams to manage the sales funnel, with the intention of bringing on new partners and taking the product to the wider market. You will be the face of the business and the second point of contact for new partners of the company, so you must be confident activating accounts as well as reaching out to wider networks. You should be simultaneously professional and personable, as you will be conducting both outbound and inbound calls, liaising with a number of potential partners of the company and supporting them throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities

In this New Business Manager graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Closing potential partners over a variety of platforms ranging from Zoom, Phone and email
  • Ensuring pipelines are kept healthy and revenue is consistently being generated for the business
  • Using product and process knowledge to judge the suitability of potential partners
  • Creating and maintaining client records within the company CRM system
  • Working closely with Customer Success/SDR/Marketing & Product to identify and manage data-driven projects, which focus on revenue, customer onboarding, churn reduction and prime firms for further upsell/cross-sell
  • Ensuring the wider team are hitting commercial goals and recording them effectively
  • Helping to grow this new branch of the business
  • Attending various networking events when it is suitable to do so again!

Job Requirements

  • A 2.1 from a university
  • At least 18 months commercial experience in closing business and converting leads
  • You must have demonstrable experience hitting KPIs and bringing in a consistent revenue stream
  • Understanding/ interest in the FinTech sphere and what the core market trends are
  • Flawless communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The confidence to work autonomously and liaise with an eclectic mix of senior business leaders
  • A keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Someone who is business-savvy with a keen interest in technology
