Job description

In this Team Assistant graduate job, you will play an integral role in the growth and success of the company. You will be given a range of responsibilities, including assisting the founder, organising board meetings, managing the office and supporting the team; meaning that you will need to be able to manage your time effectively in order to assist with the day-to-day running of the business. To be successful in this role it is essential that you are confident, proactive and determined, as you will be the point of contact for multiple stakeholders, dealing with CEOs and directors on a daily basis as well as directly supporting the founder.

Key responsibilities

In this Team Assistant graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the founder and senior staff with the smooth and efficient running of diaries
  • Welcoming guests and preparing meetings in advance
  • Preparing engagement letters, updating companies house and HMRC when onboarding clients
  • Monitoring the email inbox, monitoring response times of staff on our platform
  • Keeping up to date with industry news and relaying to the founder and other relevant teams
  • Liaising with clients and building relationships with senior members, both internally and externally
  • Being the point of contact for office management (including travel, tech support and building management)
  • Preparing lists, booking events, organising meetings, travel and accommodation
  • General office maintenance such as keeping it tidy and ordering new supplies
  • Helping to improve the internal processes within the business

Job requirements

  • A 2.1 from a top university
  • A passion to learn more about the digital industry
  • 3 months’ corporate experience, ideally, some experience within an Office Manager, Personal Assistant or Team Assistant role within a small firm working with SME/startups
  • The ability to take the initiative to solve problems and a desire to learn are key
  • Energetic and personable but happy with administrative tasks
  • Great communication skills – you’ll need to be confident communicating with a variety of teams
