Job description

In this Junior Account Manager job, you will be joining the Sales & Marketing team, working to support the sales team in managing existing and inbound leads. You will work closely with your colleagues to develop effective sales collateral and qualify inbound and outbound leads through various outreach methods. Most of this role will focus on inbound leads, taking initial calls and introducing advisors to the services and tech platform. This is a B2B sales roles, where you'll be working consultatively with clients; engaging with them to help everyone get the best advice and cultivating a strong online reputation.

Key responsibilities

In this Junior Account Manager graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Qualifying inbound and outbound leads via email and phone according to specific criteria
  • Researching and identifying target industries and businesses, working with the sales and marketing teams to do so
  • Prospecting target accounts via CRM, social and sales outreach campaigns, including events
  • Maintaining the sales CRM system
  • Running prospective members through the benefits of the platform in order to encourage premium/verified sign ups
  • Assisting the sales team with day to day tasks including putting together sales collateral, nurturing existing deals within the pipeline and organising meetings

Job requirements

  • A minimum of a 2.1 from a good university
  • Ideally 3 months' experience in a client-facing role, with some exposure to a sales environment
  • A genuine passion for technology and the finance sector
  • Fantastic organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Someone who is not afraid to get stuck in and provide support across the team
  • Humble, resilient, and a proactive go-getter by nature
