Job description

In this Graduate Automation Engineer job in London, you will need to be technically proficient in both SQL & Java. You will be getting hands-on with monitoring the operation of the system, providing support to their customers and working with internal teams. You will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining innovative, automated processes. Key responsibilities

In this Automation Engineering opportunity, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing automation for a variety of manual tasks
  • Implementing automation changes into production environments
  • Collaborating closely with the Support, Development, Infrastructure, and Implementation teams to bring new customers onto the platform
  • Using initiative to identify automation opportunities and developing solutions

Job requirements

  • At least a 2.1 degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Strong programming skills in an OOP language such as Java
  • Competent in reading, editing and creating XML documents
  • You have exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with both customers and internal teams both verbally and written
  • A strong interest in learning new languages and technical skills
