The worst job I've had

I spent one summer working as a Field Sports Camp Co-ordinator, putting on events across Suffolk for local kids who wanted to get active. It would have been a great job... if any kids turned up! Due to a mess up with the advertising, no one knew we were even running the camp.

Job description

In this Client Services Executive job, you will be responsible for a range of crucial functions within the business. Your role will involve you responding to client queries, escalating issues to management, and promoting the product across a range of platforms – and will have the scope to move into a management position in time. It’s essential that you are both professional and highly personable, as you’ll be dealing with a real range of people in your day-to-day role – including customers, Heads of Departments and other internal teams.

Key responsibilities

In this Client Services Executive job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing client queries on transactions via email and phone
  • Escalating issues to Heads of Departments and the management team where required, in an effective and timely manner
  • Communicating and coordinating with internal departments to resolve requests, and keeping track of queries with third party involvement
  • Accurately identifying and assessing customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Working closely with the Customer Success Manager to maintain the company’s reputation across various platforms (TrustPilot, Twitter, Facebook)
  • Working with individuals from across different departments to ensure constant knowledge transfer
  • Keeping accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers, and sharing your findings with internal stakeholders
  • Following communication procedures, guidelines and policies

So, what are we looking for?

  • A 2.1 from a top university
  • Previous relatable customer-facing experience would be ideal - either directly in customer service or in front of house role
  • Someone who is tech-savvy – you’ll need to be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • A team player who can adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Highly disciplined, self-motivated, and service delivery focused – you’ll need to always be willing to go the extra mile

  • A great starting salary of 22,500 (plus OTE 1,000)

In this Compliance Officer graduate job, you will be joining the company’s compliance operations team. You will be key to ensuring the verification of all new clients on a global scale, as well as playing a role in customer onboarding decisions, customer experience, and due diligence checks. You will need to have some experience in a customer-focused role; as although a lot of your job will involve research and investigation, you will also be required to communicate with a number of new clients and play a key role in their onboarding.

Key responsibilities

In this Compliance Officer job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing new customer documentation and making decisions during the onboarding process
  • Identifying and resolving alerts after their PEPs and Sanctions screening process
  • Communicating with new clients throughout the onboarding process ensuring excellent customer service throughout
  • Carrying out due diligence checks
  • Reviewing the customer experience constantly so that they are working as efficiently as possible
  • Being part of the compliance team that identifies and investigates any suspicious activity

Please note: This is a full-time position based in the Central London office. During training, hours are 9am-6pm. On completion of training expected hours are 2pm-11pm. However, this may be subject to change and you could be required to work a mix of spread out day and evening shifts.
