As a Key Account Manager, I work with graduates who are looking to break into the Banking & Finance or FinTech sphere. I do also work with the odd luxury travel client too - my favourite being the agency that planned Will and Kate's honeymoon!

My area of expertise

I work with such a huge a variety of clients that it's hard to pinpoint my particular area of expertise! But I particularly enjoy finding graduates a job they love in an area they hadn't originally thought about.

The worst job I've had

My worst job has to be when I was a security guard at a (now in administration) shoe warehouse. At 5"3 it was pretty bleak. My months' trial resulted in more shoes being stolen than ever before.

In this Business Development Executive graduate job, you will be working alongside the account management and marketing teams to manage the sales funnel, with the intention of bringing on new partners and taking the product to the wider market. You will be key to ensuring the verification of all new clients on a global scale, as well as playing a role in customer onboarding decisions, customer experience, and due diligence checks. You will need to have some experience in a customer-focused role; as although a lot of your job will involve research and investigation, you will also be required to communicate with a number of new clients and play a key role in their onboarding.

Key responsibilities

In this Compliance Officer job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing new customer documentation and making decisions during the onboarding process
  • Identifying and resolving alerts after their PEPs and Sanctions screening process
  • Communicating with new clients throughout the onboarding process ensuring excellent customer service throughout
  • Carrying out due diligence checks
  • Reviewing the customer experience constantly so that they are working as efficiently as possible
  • Being part of the compliance team that identifies and investigates any suspicious activity

Please note: This is a full-time position based in the Central London office. During training, hours are 9am-6pm. On completion of training expected hours are 2pm-11pm. However, this may be subject to change and you could be required to work a mix of spread out day and evening shifts.
