In this Project Manager role, you will be joining a fast-growing e-commerce startup, currently making waves in the health and beauty sector. The company sells a variety of beauty products, in particular essential oils, and fragrance oils and is built to scale rapidly in the coming years. This innovative and highly tech-savvy startup is vertically integrated with the end-the-end process managed in-house, from manufacturing its products, creating its marketing materials and shipping products to end consumers. So, this is an excellent opportunity to gain broad experience in all aspects of the business from supply chain logistics to manufacturing and new product research to CRM, social media and advertising.

The business is already one of the main players in its category on Amazon UK and is currently working on multiple growth initiatives such as new product lines and international expansion. The business’s website is growing rapidly, having tripled in revenue since the start of the year, and its digital marketing strategy is rapidly gaining traction, though still in early stages. Job description - Project Manager

In this Project Manager job, you will be working hands-on with the company's clients on multiple projects across all areas of the business, coordinating multiple departments, managing shifting priorities and ensuring that processes are followed and communication channels remain clear and open between the various project stakeholders.

You’ll problem solve all sorts of things, many times a day! You’ll be jumping between different projects, talking to everyone from Senior Management to Content and Editorial, and dealing with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.

Key responsibilities - Project Manager

In this Project Manager role, you can expect a jam-packed day to include the following duties:

  • Taking ownership and responsibility of all Project Management initiatives from day one, with a view to make an immediate positive impact on the business
  • Taking the lead on planning projects, liaising with the various teams & managing the run time from start to finish
  • Acting as the main point of contact for the duration of projects, supported by the relevant stakeholders
  • Being actively involved in communicating with stakeholders regarding priorities, timelines and blockers
  • Ensuring that conventions are being followed and adhered to
  • Helping to keep the overall project management tools up to date for increased visibility over the whole business, improving communication and how and where resources can be allocated

Job requirements - Project Manager

  • Degree educated to a high level, minimum 2.1 from university
  • Previous work experience (1-2 years) is greatly preferred, ideally delivering projects in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
  • You will be meticulous with exceptional organizational skills
  • Highly focused on delivery and deadlines and processed focused
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in using Asana would be ideal
  • An outgoing individual who is comfortable with both upstream and downstream management and capable of leading from the front
