In this Account Manager job, you will be joining the London office of a fast-growing market research and consumer insight consultancy, which operate mainly within the FMCG sector. Working with some of the best-known names in the industry, including Nestle, Carlsberg, Coop and Diageo, this market research company are going from strength to strength. Based in the heart of London, they provide their clients with detailed and data-driven consumer insights, in-depth consultancy, thorough training and even organisation of tailored events.

Job description - Account Manager

In this Account Manager job, we are looking for a bright candidate to join their growing team. This is an opportunity to work collaboratively and consultatively with their FMCG supplier, retailer and hospitality partners to drive their business growth, and as part of a high-performing team responsible for making sure customers are happy, engaged and getting the best possible value out of their investment with them.

Over the last 2 years, they have undergone a data revolution. They embraced a new data visualisation tool that enables them to build dashboards, visualise data in creative ways and integrate more advanced analytics. This role will be central in advancing this journey, being responsible for driving adoption, usage and advocacy of our data products across their customer base.

Key responsibilities - Account Manager

In this Account Manager job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for developing and managing the onboarding for all clients & new users to show value in the shortest path
  • Uses client health and usage data to create and improve & implement self-serve strategy
  • Measures ongoing advocacy by client and product using NPS survey through CRM
  • Identify usage issues, diagnose and work through solutions (e.g. product issues, training issues)
  • Creates engaging & inspirational content to drive usage (written, video etc…)
  • Creates a network of super users across our core subscription products
  • Provides technical and product support to client base
  • Trouble shoots client tech problems and uses CRM support ticket system
  • Communicates key client information to account managers to support commercial conversations
  • Supports new business with pitch process
  • Works closely with marketing to create engaging output
  • Acts as the voice of the customer and communicates client feedback working closely with the product manager
  • Proactively updates internal senior stakeholders with results and commercial opportunities

Job requirements - Account Manager

  • A 2:1 from University
  • 2 years of experience in a customer success role or similar
  • Familiar with processes, techniques and winning strategies to drive customer success metrics
  • Knowledge and skill in handling difficult customers or situations and can demonstrate clear resolution for both parties
  • Success in building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Experience in delivering training and facilitation skills
  • Proven self-starter that is goal and outcome orientated
