Job description - Sales Development Representative

This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of the global Sales team of a company that is undergoing tremendous growth in its core markets. As Sales Development Representative, you will be directly powering the company’s success by delivering a great buying experience for retailers.

They are a growing team and need a self-starter who enjoys building relationships with indie retail business owners and helping them find their next best-seller. The ideal candidate will enjoy understanding systems, have a keen eye for troubleshooting and understand how important the success of indie retailers is for our societies and economies.

Key responsibilities - Sales Development Representative

  • Own a high-value 'Book of Business' to activate retailers on their platform
  • Fast track repeat order behaviour and grow the top line conversion rates across the team
  • A/B test tactics, scripts, values, and strategy by being empowered to own your goals
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Finance) and constantly evolve messaging, outreach, and prioritisation strategies
  • Unlimited career opportunity across the company's global teams (UK, Europe and USA) through special projects and routes into other teams

Job requirements - Sales Development Representative

  • A university degree
  • 1-2 years of customer-facing work experience
  • A high level of grit, motivation, dedication, and honesty
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and diligence to handle relationships daily
  • Strong project management skills and can build processes that will allow hundreds of retailers to repeat orders on a monthly basis
  • Enjoy working with data and can run reports that will help fine-tune the accuracy of the company's segmentation and targeting focus
  • Delight in communicating with people and understanding their needs
  • Demonstrable passion for growing the world’s small business community and helping them grow sustainably
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-growth, ambitious environment with constant change
