In this Marketing Manager job In London, you will be joining an established and highly profitable retail tech start-up, that has grown completely organically since their conception in 2014. Their SaaS software is used by a number of retail clients, across 30 different counties, and in 18 languages. With huge clients such as Hugo Boss, M&S, BP and Specsavers on their books, their cloud-based product helps to streamline store communications, task management, store reviews and photo uploads – simplifying processes to save time and increase store performance. A rebrand and website relaunch project - reflecting the growth of the company and the development of additional product sets - will be completed in April 2021. They are looking for a digital-focused Marketing Manager to support the next phase of their growth, scaling their marketing capability and developing campaigns to create awareness and demand.

Job Description

In this Digital Marketing Manager job for a SaaS platform in London, you will be heavily involved in the next stage of growth at an organically grown, hugely successful leading tech platform. You’ll report directly to the Managing Director, and work alongside the Business Development and Sales teams, taking a digital approach in ownership of planning and executing effective marketing campaigns. This exciting tech startup are completing their rebrand in April 2021 due to huge growth and new products, and you’ll be joining during this exciting time.

Key Responsibilities

In this Digital Marketing Manager opportunity in London, your responsibilities will include:

  • Building a solid understanding of the market, competitive environment and buying personas
  • Taking ownership for digital marketing efforts
  • Positioning the company as an authority in the retail ops space through effective and dynamic content-driven campaigns
  • Driving quality traffic to the website through digital campaigns across owned and paid media, including: paid and organic search, email, social channels, PR, and London & New York tradeshows
  • Creating content such as blog posts, eBooks, webinars, and case studies to support campaigns
  • Managing the website and improving conversion rates on demo requests, newsletter signups and content downloads

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a tech marketing role, ideally B2B
  • Ideally a 2:1 as a minimum from a top university
  • A solid understanding of the sales and marketing funnel, and experience in working alongside lead gen and business development teams
  • Solid digital skillset, including experience with Adwords, Mailchimp, HubSpot and Wordpress
  • a proven track record in leveraging search and social channels to generate demand
  • Strong communication skills, including excellent spelling and grammar.
  • Analytic approach and ability to set, track and manage budgets and KPIs.
  • An interest in enterprise-level software - and in the role of technology in transforming business process – and the aptitude to build a solid understanding of the StorIQ product.
