Job description - Junior Account Executive

In this graduate Client Services job in London, you will be joining an independent agency that offers fantastic opportunities for training and rapid progression. Your role will be incredibly varied, and tasks will include liaising with clients to deliver proposals, keeping up-to-date with industry news and proactively dealing with any campaign issues that arise. You’ll need to have a flair for marketing and fantastic communication skills, as you will be expected to build and sustain strong relationships with a number of key clients, as well as helping them with their communications strategies.

Key responsibilities - Junior Account Executive

In this Graduate Account Executive job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with your clients to deliver proposals, marketing plans and strategies for any new projects
  • Staying up-to-date with industry changes
  • Working to build and sustain strong relationships with your clients
  • Maintaining contact with clients and delivering campaign updates
  • Dealing with any campaign issues
  • Analysing and reporting on projects to gain insight into key trends

Job requirements - Junior Account Executive

  • A 2.1 degree in a scientific-based subject from university
  • A proven interest in client services and marketing
  • A real interest in science and an interest in learning more about a continually evolving sector
  • The ability to take constructive criticism and work autonomously when necessary
  • A great work ethic - you won't shy away from hard work and will strive to prove yourself!
  • A knack for research
  • A creative streak – you’ll be someone who can think outside the box and bring great ideas to the table
  • Commercial awareness - you’ll need to be business-savvy and preferably come with previous experience in an office environment
