Creative Assistant - Digital
My role within Give A Grad A Go is as a Candidate Resourcer, which involves speaking to an array of graduates looking to kick-start their job hunt and find their ideal first job.
My area of expertise
As a Candidate Resourcer I don't specialise in any specific area within the company, however I am mostly drawn to the creative industries. I get to speak to extremely interesting and talented candidates from a huge range of backgrounds, and see their incredible portfolios of work – it’s definitely an area I’m very passionate about.Why I chose to work at Give A Grad A Go
I first heard about Give A Grad A Go through a friend, who recommended applying for graduate jobs through them. When I arrived to meet the team and discuss potential job opportunities, I was struck by how friendly and dedicated everyone was, and was completely drawn to the company culture. Although I had never considered it before, I knew that recruitment would play to my strengths as I love talking to people and finding out about their journeys. In this Creative Assistant graduate job, you will have the opportunity to work in a high-performing, cross-functional team delivering a global IT transformation programme for a FTSE 100 company. Day to day, your responsibilities will include editing film content, documents and brainstorming fantastic new ideas. You will need to have a strong portfolio of design work, particularly in digital, as you will be juggling a range of creative projects at any given time.
Key responsibilities
In this Creative Assistant graduate job, your responsibilities will include:
- Filming content in the production studio
- Editing filmed content and produce final artefacts
- Customising and designing the layout of documents & artefacts
- Creating cosmetic layouts of document artefacts
- Participating in brainstorming and other idea generating team sessions
So, what are we looking for?
- A minimum of a 2.1 in a design degree from a top university
- A creative, out-of-the-box thinker
- A strong portfolio of design work
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS & JavaScript
- High skill level in design (Photoshop, Premier & Illustrator)
- After Effects / animation experience is a plus!
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Can-do attitude and ability to work with little supervision
- Someone who is both outgoing and enthusiastic

- A great starting salary of between 24,000 - 28,000 pro rata (contract)
