In this Programme Manager role, you’ll be joining a leading Management Consultancy business, that specialises in working with media and information entrepreneurs to scale up and create value in their business. Their team of experienced media leaders deliver high-quality advice and support through structured multi-year programmes focused on strategy, planning, product development, sales, marketing, customer success, and finance. They are active members of the Founder community, meaning they work with up-and-coming enterprise businesses and their founders through their crucial scale-up phase.

This consultancy is a high-growth company, doubling in revenues each year. Now, with a well-curated team of expert advisors and their own scale-up plan in place, they are looking for a Graduate Programme Manager to join the team and ensure client success.

Job description - Programme Manager

This successful consultancy work with a wide range of high-profile clients and deliver bespoke, long-term consultancy projects. The Graduate Programme Manager will be responsible for coordinating, organising, and delivering these projects.

You'll communicate with high-level stakeholders both internally and externally, schedule programmes, and act as a key point of communication between the consultants and the clients. You'll also assess risk and dependencies to ensure all projects run smoothly to set deadlines, and even contribute to consultancy programme design!

Key responsibilities - Programme Manager

In this Programme Manager job, you will be responsible for the following duties, but not limited to:

• Managing relationships with both the team of expert advisors and their client partners. These will be founders, entrepreneurs and CEOs!
• Becoming the connecting point between advisors and clients; initiating consultancy projects, acting as a key point of communication
• Taking ownership of client programme scheduling
• Organising end-to-end inter-connected advisory projects
• Assessing resources, risks, deadlines, and dependencies
• Using Programme Management software
• Ensuring all projects run smoothly and to pre-agreed timelines
• Pre-empting project delays and working logically to create solutions
• Managing the Learning Management System
• Exposure to budget management and programme design

Job requirements - Programme Manager

• A graduate from university OR someone who went straight into work and has gained relevant commercial experience
• Established commercial experience in an organisational, project-focused, or client-facing position is required
• Professional experience in managing business and stakeholder relationships
• Exceptional communication skills - you can find a way of building rapport with everyone and anyone
• Highly confident – you will be working directly with CEOs, founders, and directors
• Fantastic organisational skills – you’ll pride yourself on your proven ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Understanding of project/Programme Management techniques
• Very strong attention to detail
• Outstanding ability in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Confident in picking up new technical software
• A natural problem solver with the ability to solve issues seamlessly
• A real go-getter and high achiever, with the confidence to work autonomously and get things done!
• A genuine interest in Management Consulting
