Job Description

In this Junior Account Executive graduate job, you will be working closely with the Account Managers and Directors to implement public and investor relations programmes on behalf of clients. You will be tasked with producing content for press releases, marketing material, presentations and organizing meetings with appropriate journalists and analysts who can disseminate client messages to potential and existing investors.

Key Responsibilities

In this Public Relations Account Executive graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Being a client-facing account handler with direct access to CEOs and Board Directors
  • Responding to investor requests efficiently and professionally
  • Assisting the wider team with keeping feedback reports
  • Delivering target lists ahead of roadshows - researching, discovering and sharing potential new journalists and analysts to meet with clients
  • Producing content for social media platforms and updating the websites
  • Liaising with journalists on new interesting stories
  • Maintaining a clear understanding on the different events and advertorial opportunities available
  • Liaising with third parties such as designers and printers on cost-effective services
  • Keeping track of client projects, strategy and teams
  • Providing first drafts of press releases, website copy, presentations and handouts
  • Regularly arrange lunches, drinks, coffees with journalists, city commentators and investors
  • Keeping up to date with relevant news stories and coverage
  • Be available out of office hours when needed to support team members

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of a 2.1 from university
  • A proactive can-do attitude
  • Fantastic organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both in the office and when representing the company
  • A real team player with a flexible approach to work – this is not a 9-5pm position
  • Experience of managing and implementing social media strategies for corporate clients
  • Experience with Twitter, LinkedIn and Microsoft Office
