Job description - Investor Relations Analyst

In this Investor Relations Analyst role in London, the successful graduate can expect a broad array of tasks, focusing on examining large sets of capital-markets data and supporting team members in the preparation, execution and delivery of advisory work. You’ll be working closely alongside senior directors to learn and improve your skill set. The ideal candidate for this role will have some previous insight into the financial world, either through academia or work experience, and will be hungry to progress further. Most importantly, this person will be eager to enter into a fast-paced and collaborative environment where there is great room for progression and development!

Key responsibilities - Investor Relations Analyst

In this Investor Relations job in London, you'll be involved in:

• Detailed quantitative analysis, including share register and ownership data, to understand investor behaviours and to produce target lists of investors
• Regular work on the preparation of high-quality new business and pitch documents
• Direct communication with fund managers and buy-side analysts to arrange investor meetings
• Logistical support to ensure efficient running of investor access initiatives and other investor events
• Develop strong relationships with buy-side contacts in order to obtain detailed market intelligence for clients
• Various ad hoc activities

Job requirements - Investor Relations Analyst

• At least a 2:1 or above from a top university, ideally within Economics, Business or Finance related degrees
• Hugely motivated mentality with ability to work hard in a bustling environment
• Demonstrated aptitude in analysing information through quantitative methods
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and spoken
• Fantastic organisational skills with the ability to keep many plates spinning at once
• Stellar grasp of Microsoft Office
• Advanced Excel skills
• Sophisticated PowerPoint charting skills
