Job description – HR Assistant

In this HR Assistant role, you will be providing end-to-end support to the HR Business Partners. You will be given full exposure to the intricacies which exist within Human Resources – this will range from payroll, systems administration, benefits and much more.

It is essential that you are organised, motivated, and an excellent communicator – you will be playing an integral role in the organisation and supporting the wider team.

Key responsibilities – HR Assistant

In this HR HR Assistant opportunity for graduates, your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring all invoices are processed promptly and tracked on relevant trackers
  • Saving documents to folders on the HR Personnel drive as instructed by the HR team
  • Diary management for the wider HR team – primarily arranging and coordinating meetings
  • Responding to employee system queries, escalating frequent issues
  • Providing general administrative support in the areas of payroll, benefits, and HR system management
  • Updating HR documentation as and when is required
  • Managing data entries relating to new starters, leavers and training records
  • Downloading payroll reports ready for checks
  • Tracking and processing invoices

Job requirements – HR Assistant

  • A university degree from a top ranking college, ideally achieving a 2.1 or above
  • Exposure to Human Resources would be a real plus
  • Confident on Microsoft excel and all Microsoft functions
  • Self-motivated with a strong ability to multi-task
  • Fantastic written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office
