Job description - Graduate Research Executive

In this Graduate Research Executive role, you will curate and deliver research projects and content initiatives to support client work. Working as part of a team you will primarily respond to data requests from consulting staff and help to maintain research repositories.

You will also support the rest of the Research team in managing offshore research partners which are part of day-to-day operations within the team. The Research & Insights team is part of a wider Knowledge function, and this role will be an integral part of this team primarily contributing to Research and supporting Knowledge Management and Content Development services as and when required.

Key responsibilities - Graduate Research Executive

In this Graduate Research Executive job, your responsibilities will include:

• Liaising with consulting staff to clarify research briefing and to agree deliverable expectations
• Conducting desktop research and secondary industry investigations where necessary
• Collating content from research repositories and database subscriptions to curate shareable outputs, working to produce material
• Research partnering (Establishing yourself as a reliable research partner to our project teams, Subject Matter Expert communities, and Business Development teams by proactively reaching out with relevant curated research content/ intellectual capital)
• Keeping tabs on and sharing the latest database content with the wider business
• Creating &curating proactive research content from research partners and sharing this with relevant stakeholders around the business.
• Collecting feedback from research requestors and holding feedback and review sessions with offshore research partners.
• Administrative tasks (Ensuring Research files are uploaded to the Research SharePoint, keeping the database repositories up to date, assisting with research trackers.)

Job requirements - Graduate Research Executive

• A minimum of a 2.1 degree, must be within one of the following subjects: Social Sciences (Anthropology, Psychology, Sociology, History, Linguistics, Politics), Library Sciences or Information Management
• Some research experience through current job, prior internships or university placements
• Proficient use of excel and other Microsoft office packages
• Confident communicator
• Able to work proactively and to tight deadlines
• Additional European languages are beneficial, though not essential
