Job description

In this Graduate Investment Fund Analyst role in London, you will be tasked with analysing data and information from investment funds to assist in providing a precise breakdown of fund fees and expenses. The ideal candidate will be numerate, detail orientated and happy to work individually as well as part of a broader team. On a day-to-day basis, you will be required to maintain the production cycle, review and analyse investment funds’ financial reports and prospectuses in order to evaluate and determine the fee structures which facilitate the firms calculations. You may also be required to discuss your findings with asset managers in order to resolve issues and discrepancies.

Key responsibilities

In this Graduate Investment Fund Analyst job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collection, Logging and Analysis of financial reports
  • Data calculation
  • Project Research
  • Communication with asset managers
  • Database maintenance
  • Calculate fee structures based on analysis from funds

Job requirements

  • A 2:1 from a university, ideally in a maths or financial maths
  • High level numeracy essential
  • Problem Solving
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong MS Excel skills an advantage
  • Knowledge and/or interest in asset management an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential
