Job description

In this Client Relationship Manager career for graduates, you will be managing a large portfolio of existing clients with a goal of retaining revenue and generating further spend. The perfect account manager will be instrumental in driving spend and developing lasting relationships with a large variety of accounts. You can expect an extensive portfolio with various price points and engagement levels and there will be huge scope to seek out exciting opportunities for your client base to benefit from. To succeed in this role, you will a confident relationship builder and will have had considerable success in closing warm leads.

Please note, this is currently a fully remote role with no fixed office, with the view of getting an office in the future.

Key responsibilities

In this Client Relations Manager job in London, you will be joining a global expert team and reporting to the Regional Account Development Manager they can expect the following tasks, but not limited to:

  • Manage and nurture a portfolio of billing clients and ensure a high retention rate
  • Ensuring a smooth and positive transition for customers after their onboarding process
  • Developing & maintaining long-lasting relationships with clients
  • Introducing existing partners to new & premium products
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless buying & development process
  • Mitigating any cancellations or contraction churn by supporting stakeholders with a positive experience
  • Assist with clients requests or objection handling

There is a huge opportunity here to progress as the team are set for aggressive growth plans into 2021.

Job requirements

  • Educated to degree level ideally
  • Must have proven experience in managing a sales pipeline and closing repeat business
  • B2B consultative sales or account management experience is essential
  • A passion for the Fintech industry and a serious willingness to learn
  • A real problem solver and active listener
  • An ambitious self-starter with a curiosity to learn
  • An ability to build rapport and form long-lasting trusted relationships
  • Fantastic time management and organisational skills
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • Stakeholder management knowledge
  • An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
