Job Description - Senior UX/UI Designer

In this Senior UX/UI Designer job, you will be a central figure in realising this company’s ongoing rebrand. You will be taking the lead in this project and, amongst other things, will be conducting user interviews and workshops, creating customer personas and user flows, as well as designing prototypes, wireframes, and user journeys. This role will require someone who deals well with managing multiple concurrent projects, who can work at pace, and who would relish the chance to put their mark on a business. Key Responsibilities - Senior UX/UI Designer

In this Senior Designer role in London, your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating a broad set of stakeholders (from C-level, business, and development) to generate buy-in
  • Having the right balance of due diligence to the UX process and user validation
  • Being pragmatic in helping deliver value to customers & users
  • Conducting user interviews, contextual enquiries & co-design workshops
  • Creating personas, user journeys, & user flows
  • Lead in creating sketches, wireframes, prototyping & user testing
  • Designing responsive web & mobile

Job Requirements - Senior UX/UI Designer

  • A 2.1 from university
  • The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of UX/UI design experience
  • A solid understanding of working on products in an agile environment
  • Proficiency in Sketch, Invision, UXPin, Axure & Adobe CS (or equivalent software)
  • Knowledge of HTML & CSS
  • Experience with WordPress design
  • Experience in implementing analytics & data tracking plans (nice to have)
  • Experience working with UI component libraries (nice to have)
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment
