Corporate Portfolio Manager - Job description

In this Portfolio Manager job in London, you will play an integral part in the company’s growth. From the offset, you will benefit from accelerated career growth and will be provided with the opportunity to participate in practical training directly related to your role. In your role, you will report to the Head of Corporate Membership and will support them in managing a portfolio of existing client relationships. You should have a good understanding of the needs of growing and established businesses that are working in data, analytics in finance or insurance. You will need to be able to create strong relationships across multiple organisations at different levels, ensuring that your portfolio of member companies feel supported and that they get the best possible value from your services.

Corporate Portfolio Manager - Key responsibilities

In this Client Services opportunity in London, your responsibilities will include:

  • Onboarding new corporate members (welcome email, contracts, identifying key people).
  • Conducting monthly membership calls
  • Maintaining high satisfaction of members as measured by KPIs
  • Gaining referrals and testimonials from members
  • Supporting partners and sales team in the identification of new members
  • Working with the marketing team to ensure good visibility and exposure for corporate members that are speaking at events
  • Informal and structured survey of members to understand their needs
  • Attending London based events
  • Gaining key information about your member companies and their needs
  • Renewing annual membership with members

Corporate Portfolio Manager - Job requirements

  • BA or BSc degree from a top university
  • 1-2 years experience working with customers from multiple companies in technology or financial services/insurance businesses
  • Proven experience in sales and generating revenue
  • Passion for technology and innovation
  • Demonstrated experience and success in building processes and systems and leading projects for fast-growing companies
  • Technically capable, excellent communicator, strong project management skills, attention to detail and a desire to improve processes
  • Commercially driven
  • Ability to work remotely and travel and work in London

Corporate Portfolio Manager - Benefits of the job

  • A great starting salary of £25,000 - £35,000, depending on experience + discretionary bonus!
  • Flexible work location but once covid restrictions are lifted, you will be expected to be in London at least once per week
