Job description - Account Manager

In this Account Manager job in London, you will be nurturing long-term relationships with clients and building new strategic partnerships. You will be the client's lead contact and responsible for client processes, ensuring that any issues raised are dealt with. In this role, you should be an excellent communicator who is able to grasp customer needs and brainstorm ways to fulfil them. Your goal will be to help safeguard revenue whilst retaining current clients and leveraging their world-class consulting service to generate new business. See the full responsibilities below!

Key responsibilities - Account Manager

In this Account Manager opportunity, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the Business Development & Consulting teams to leverage multiple relationships across the client base
  • Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our client journey improvement projects with the Operations/Marketing & Finance teams
  • Negotiating and agreeing on renewal contracts to continuously build client relationships
  • Generating new business with existing clients and continuously identifying areas of potential development for relationships
  • Developing and growing a network of external referral partners and strategic partnerships
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and forecasts, tracking key account metrics
  • Assisting with challenging client requests, disputes, complaints & feedback
  • Sitting on select pre-workshop calls to meet and engage our clients
  • Posting submission processes and claim tracking
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration for client service excellence

Job requirements - Account Manager

  • A 2.1 from university
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets
  • Experience tracking relevant KPIs (e.g. customer satisfaction)
  • High attention to detail and well organised
  • The capabilities to deliver innovative solutions to complex challenges
  • The flexibility to take on change, shifting tasks and priorities when circumstances dictate
  • Desire to make a marked impact on the UK innovation landscape
