In this Marketing Executive job, you will be joining a consultancy specialising in R&D tax credit claims. They work with some of the UK’s most exciting and innovative businesses to help them gain access to huge amounts of revenue from Government grants and schemes, put in place to incentivise innovation and investment in the UK. Established in 2020, this firm has quickly emerged as the challenger to the established market leaders. To date, it has delivered in excess of £30m of client benefit and is currently working on an additional £20m.

The government budget for R&D this year is £14.9 billion, so there is huge potential here and this firm has an incredibly scalable model! It has ambitious growth plans to double in size every year for the next 3 years. Due to continued success, they are looking for multiple motivated graduates to join the team.

Job description - Marketing Executive

In this Marketing Executive role, you will be working across the full spectrum of marketing activities for this business with a particular focus on social media. We are looking for a confident and creative Marketing Executive to join this rapidly growing team. Your role will be to support the operations team to further develop and grow online presence. The ideal candidate will have social media & marketing experience and be willing to become an expert in their field. Take a look at the full responsibilities below!

Key responsibilities - Marketing Executive

In this Marketing Executive opportunity, your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining the website and liaising with our external designers to guide required changes
  • Ownership and delivery of marketing strategy
  • Plan, and post targeted daily social media posts to maximise engagement
  • Generate new business through focused online campaigns
  • Assisting with the planning, coordination, and execution of client-facing Events
  • Work with the Head of Strategic Alliances to publicise partnerships
  • Using Canva & PowerPoint to create informational graphics for clients
  • Writing and publicising a weekly blog
  • Writing and sending a Monthly Newsletter

Job requirements - Marketing Executive

  • A degree from university (Marketing or Communications related ideal but not required)
  • Commercial experience within a marketing or social media focussed role
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Canva experience
  • Practical IT skills including the use of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with an eye for detail
  • Be confident and willing to learn
  • Positive and proactive
