Company profile – Corporate Finance Boutique

In this Finance Analyst role, you will be joining an FCA-regulated corporate finance boutique founded in 2003 and based in London. They strive to maximise the potential of high-growth companies. The team is made up of both Chartered Accountants and Corporate Finance Professionals all working together to provide high-quality financial service to their wide array of high-growth private and public companies. This includes a full range of transactional services including pre-deal structuring, due diligence, management of Initial Public Offerings (IPO) and reverse takeovers (RTO), and equity fundraisings.

Job description – Corporate Finance Analyst

This Corporate Finance Analyst role involves supporting the Corporate Finance partner/s in providing transactional services to a range of retained clients. You will be involved in all aspects of the transaction process which will require strong written communication and numeracy skills and attention to detail. You will be working with senior external providers of legal, accounting, and regulatory services and director-level personnel at corporate clients.

Key responsibilities – Corporate Finance Analyst

In this Corporate Finance Analyst role, your tasks will include:

• Project Management and interface with third-party advisors including lawyers, accountants and market regulators
• Assist, manage and streamline the KYC and AML procedures across the corporate & investor client base
• Assist with investment roadshows and management of equity bookbuild process.
• Preparation of equity market pitch decks and other market-related information.
• Assist with pre-deal structuring and financial modelling
• Preparation of information packs and pitch books
• Assist in the conversion of new business opportunities

Job requirements – Corporate Finance Analyst

• A 2:1 from university in a relevant degree
• Ability to establish strong relationships with third-party advisors and clients
• Self-Starter mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong numeracy
• Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment with an ability to grasp and understand business issues quickly
• Relevant work experience or internships
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ‘can do’ attitude
• Strong organisational and IT literacy skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
