Job description - Client Service Specialist

The Client Service Specialist is a role supporting the company's EMEA Client Group. Aspects of the role include communicating with clients, managing new account start-ups and responding to client queries. This position is ideal for a dedicated, energetic and confident individual who is passionate about the investments industry and is seeking a long-term career in institutional client service. Support and guidance will be provided throughout the role.

Key responsibilities - Client Service Specialist

In this Client Services role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Track and maintain client information, facilitate account openings, transitions, restructurings, closings, and cash flows for Fund investors

  • Communicate effectively with internal parties (e.g. Compliance, Operations, Portfolio Construction) and external parties (investors, fund administrator, custodian)

  • Coordinate fund documentation for UCITS funds (e.g. Prospectus, KIID, Factsheet etc.)

  • Acquire a deep understanding of Asset Management, the company, its resources, and how other functional groups are integrated in its business process

  • Support the European Funds team and the broader business

  • Ad hoc reporting and project work

Job requirements - Client Services Specialist

  • A 2.1 degree from university
  • 1 - 4 years of Client Service or Operations experience in a similar environment
  • Solution-oriented mindset with an eye towards process improvement and automation
  • Team player; Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong business judgment; Flexible and able to adapt to situations
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to follow through
  • Ability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
