Job description

In this Junior Financial Analyst graduate job, you will be supporting the financial analytics team in analysing financial statements of client portfolio companies. This data will help create actionable insight for the business’s clients, who can access this crucial information via a bespoke built SaaS platform. You will need to be accurate in your approach and have a keen eye for detail, as you will be carrying out analysis across different markets, company valuations and market and financial analysis.

Please note: This is a 6 month paid placement with the potential to turn permanent, subject to company review.

Key responsibilities

In this Junior Financial Analyst graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the financial analytics team with financial monitoring, reporting and modelling
  • Analysing financial statements on behalf of clients
  • Undertaking leveraged portfolio analysis
  • Conducting financial modelling in Excel
  • Carrying out market and financial analysis
  • Responsible for company valuation
  • Business, market and financial analysis of highly geared borrowers
  • Assisting the team with client support
  • Participating in pitches for new and established clients
