I’d applied for a few roles through Give A Grad A Go, but wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted to do. I came in to visit the team to discuss what kinds of graduate jobs my skills would be best suited to, and I really liked the atmosphere in the office. Although I’d never really considered a career in graduate recruitment before, when I spoke to the team about the possibility of a job here I thought that it sounded like something I’d be good at – and here I am!

The worst job I've had

I held a job doing door-to-door sales for a number of different charities. Hopefully I learnt something from the late evenings cold calling in the rain!

Job description

In this Junior Project Coordinator job, you will be working a project based role, heavily involved in maintaining and building partnerships for our clients corporate division. You will be working closely with key senior staff members on coordinating campaigns as well as logistics and planning of their events. It’s essential that you are adaptable, professional and confident, as you will assist the team on ad hoc projects including Data Sorting, Analysis, Presentation Packs, and other logistical and administrative duties as well as completing extensive training and development.

Key responsibilities

In this Junior Project Coordinator job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with company directors
  • Providing support to customers and prospects
  • Acting as the first point of contact when dealing with existing and prospective client enquiries
  • Assisting when necessary with ad hoc data sorting and analysis

On this Investment & Wealth Management graduate scheme, you will be joining a highly successful family office on a 12 month rotational programme. Over the course of the rotation you will first be able to gain specific insight into the investment management arm of the business, followed by the family office wealth management side. The group as a whole covers other areas including corporate finance, private equity real estate and art consultancy - so the successful candidate can expect to also gain an insight into these fields over the course of the rotational programme.
