Job Description

In this Investor Relations Executive graduate job, you will be working with the fundraising and investor relations team, to assist with fundraising as well as ongoing relationships with their growing base of investors and financial intermediaries. You will need to get stuck in from the start, co-ordinating various administrative tasks to ensure that the fundraising and customer service functions are running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

  • Acting as the main point of contact for any day to day investor and shareholder queries
  • Co-ordinating the fundraising administration process – receipt & acknowledgement of applications, bank reconciliations, AML checks, allotment process etc.
  • Responding to requests for marketing materials or further information from 3rd parties
  • Helping to prepare and maintain marketing materials, ranging from presentations, event invitations and co-ordinating the external print of annual reports.
  • Organising and co-ordinating the annual shareholder event
  • CRM database management
  • Various ad hoc duties

Job requirements

  • A 2.1 degree from university
  • Ideally 1 year work experience or an internship within the financial services
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
  • The ability to work as part of a team, as well as the confidence to liaise with a wide range of people
  • Excellent customer services skills (previous experience would be beneficial)
  • A good, confident telephone manner
  • Great working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
