Why I chose to work at Give A Grad A Go

I’d applied for a few roles through Give A Grad A Go, but wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted to do. I came in to visit the team to discuss what kinds of graduate jobs my skills would be best suited to, and I really liked the atmosphere in the office. Although I’d never really considered a career in graduate recruitment before, when I spoke to the team about the possibility of a job here I thought that it sounded like something I’d be good at – and here I am!

The worst job I've had

I held a job doing door-to-door sales for a number of different charities. Hopefully I learnt something from the late evenings cold calling in the rain!

Job description

In this Account Executive graduate job, you will be joining the dynamic and high-energy sales team. You will be responsible for developing leads, as well as building strong relationships with potential clients within the education sector. You will need to be bright, outgoing and professional – as you’ll be at the forefront of the company’s growth, and must be able to sell their technology platform in a way that is both compelling and engaging.

Key responsibilities

In this Account Executive graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Researching and identifying clients within the education market
  • Building strong relationships with potential clients
  • Using your own initiative to think of new and innovative ways to approach new clients
  • Working effectively within a team to meet targets
