Job description

In this Business Development Executive job, you'll be responsible for sourcing and managing a pipeline of new partnership opportunities, in a range of exciting sectors, and developing a tailored proposition for each business. You will receive regular training and will be mentored by a highly successful and knowledgeable Account Manager with several years' experience at the company. Success in this role will require you to be tenacious, self-driven, and highly motivated; and you will need excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Key responsibilities

In this Business Development Executive job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Consistently achieving individual and team targets and KPI’s
  • Sourcing and managing a pipeline of new opportunities
  • Qualifying opportunities and generating an in-depth understanding of your prospects
  • Delivering exceptional service to prospective and onboarded partners
  • Delivering high quality hand overs of newly generated, registered partners to the Partner Account Management team

Job requirements

  • Previous work experience in a B2B sales role
  • The role involves generating new referring partnerships, and so you will need excellent communication skills
  • Particular emphasis on a friendly and professional telephone manner
  • Experience in a client facing/sales environment is a plus
  • The successful candidate will be energetic, highly motivated to outperform targets and take pride in delivering success as part of a team operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ambition to have a successful career in the financial industry
