This exciting E-commerce startup is now in a period of substantial growth and is looking for a Graduate Operations Executive to join their vibrant, dynamic team!

Job description

In this Operations Assistant job based in Telford, you will assist with the daily operation and coordination of the supply chain department and work towards streamlining existing business processes. You will work collaboratively with the Head of Supply Chain, providing a full range of internal support and liaising closely with customers, 3^rd party suppliers and internal stakeholders and acting as the key point of contact for any issues regarding the returns journey.

You will need to be both highly personable and exceptionally organised, as you will be required to liaise with a range of people as well as provide general administration support to the Head of Department. The successful candidate will also be highly analytical with an eye for pointing out areas for business improvement.

Key responsibilities

In this Junior Operations Executive job in the Midlands, your responsibilities will include:

• Flagging ideas for streamlining or automating business processes to drive efficiency
• Analysing data and creating reports to feedback to senior stakeholders
• Collaborating with customers, 3^rd party suppliers and internal stakeholders to provide support
• Ensuring the returns process runs smoothly and updating the system with any new events
• Updating excel with delivery information
• Monitoring delivery times and escalating issues where required
• Reviewing HubSpot and responding to clients.

Job Requirements

• Degree educated, ideally in a Business related discipline
• An interest in supply chain and E-commerce with a basic understanding of the logistics network
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent attention to detail and a proven ability to manage your time well and prioritise work
• A real team player
• Previous work experience within the fashion retail sector or an operations role would be a bonus!
• Good Microsoft Excel skills with a keen eye for data analysis
• Must be able to exercise tact, good judgment and sensitivity both in-person and on the telephone.
