In this Business Development Executive job for graduates, you will be joining a hugely successful, rapidly expanding end-to-end sales law firm, founded in 2015 and already generating £5 million in revenue year on year. Despite the pandemic, their customer bases have quadrupled in size from high-growth venture capital firms to entrepreneurial start ups. Their low-cost subscription models provide their high-profile business clients access to premium legal advice for just a fraction of the cost, helping them to grow and scale at pace. They have offices across the UK with almost all of their lawyers having previously worked for a top 100 UK law firm or at large international businesses'. They are now looking to build out their already successful Business Development team with some dedicated and hungry graduates!

Job Description

In this remote Sales job in London, you will be joining the core function of the business, with the aim of growing and maintaining potential relationships with new clients. You will be at the forefront of commercial efforts, where your hard-work, grit and hustle will have a direct impact on personal and company revenue. You will undergo indispensable Business Development and industry training to provide you with a strong foundation to be successful. You will need to be determined, motivated and resilient, as you will be playing a key role in the growth of the company; using your professional communication skills and industry knowledge to confidently engage with prospective clients, which will include senior managers and C-Level Executives, managing the process from beginning to end.

Key Responsibilities

In this graduate Business Development job in London, your responsibilities will include:

  • Onboarding new business and providing tailored consultations on full services available
  • Conducting research into prospective clients and qualifying their suitability
  • Using Beauhurst and Crunchbase to find and qualify new leads, and making the first point of contact via email and phone
  • Using innovative software to engage with prospective clients through emails, calls, networking and research
  • Developing your pitch structure - being able to uncover prospective clients needs and introduce an innovative solution that adds tangible value
  • Deliver marketing material and product insight to prospects while establishing a trusting relationship with key stakeholders

Job Requirements

  • A highly driven graduate, ideally with a minimum degree result of a 2.1
  • Some experience in Business Development, Recruitment or a Sales-based role would be great, but not essential!
  • A clear desire to work in a corporate sales role
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal - a polished demeanour and confidence is essential as you will be reaching out to C-level Executives
  • Growth mindset; not afraid to try new approaches, turning mistakes or failures into a learning opportunity
  • A self-motivated person who thrives in a consultative sales environment
  • Someone who is highly target-driven and possesses a results-orientated work ethic
  • Always looking for additional responsibility and autonomy
  • A creative mindset - someone who is keen to explore innovative ways to bring on new business
