In this Graduate Analyst role, you will be joining a curated media and communications specialist who provides bespoke news services to their clients on a daily basis. Job description - Graduate Analyst

Within this Graduate Analyst role, you will be monitoring the media and capital markets in relation to macroeconomics and how these may impact clients’ and customers’ businesses. You will also curate daily content from worldwide publications into short daily briefings for political and financial news headlines. Within this role, there is a lot of client engagement and maintaining a first-class business relationship is crucial.

Key responsibilities - Graduate Analyst

In this Graduate Analyst opportunity, your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring the UK capital markets and general macro-economics
  • Monitoring and analysing the UK business media, newswires and regulatory services for clients
  • Interacting with clients and building strong business relationships with them
  • Curate daily content from worldwide publications to daily briefings on political and financial news headlines
  • Track media coverage to compile reports for clients for example on share price, customer confidence and sentiment to each client’s specification

Job requirements - Graduate Analyst

  • A 2.1 from university
  • Lots of enthusiasm and a proven interest in the news, business and financial communications
  • Excellent written communication skills – you will be required to write clearly and concisely
  • Excellent verbal communication skills - you will be working with multiple team members across the company
  • Desire to build close relationships with clients and understand their objectives
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to take on a range of tasks
  • Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to ensure that all tasks are completed in a time-effective manner
