This exciting E-commerce startup is now in a period of substantial growth and is looking for a Graduate Junior Account Executive to join their vibrant, dynamic team!

Job description

In this Graduate Account Representative, you will be responsible for supporting a team of Account Managers, gaining initial experience in client account management through personal ownership of smaller retailer accounts. You will work collaboratively with a designated Account Manager, providing a full range of internal support and liaising closely with your clients and the internal team, acting as the key point of contact for any issues or queries regarding the accounts. You will have a clear structure for progression from the offset, with the opportunity to develop into an Account Manager and take charge of some of the business' VIP clients. You will need to be highly personable, outgoing and confident as you will be required to liaise with a range of client accounts. The successful candidate will also be highly analytical with strong excel skills and an eye for pointing out areas for business improvement.

Key responsibilities

In this Sales Account Executive job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating 1:1 with you designated Account Manager to support them with daily tasks
  • Providing excellent client service for low-volume retail accounts
  • Performance analysis of key accounts and creating reports to feedback to senior stakeholders
  • Flagging ideas for streamlining or automating business processes to drive efficiency
  • Working with all departments to understand the business model

Job requirements

  • Degree educated, ideally in a Business related discipline
  • An interest in supply chain and E-commerce
  • Ideally 6 months commercial office-based experience
  • Previous work experience within a customer/client facing or logistical role would be a big bonus!
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proven ability to manage your time well and prioritise work
  • A real team player
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills with a keen eye for data analysis
  • Must be able to exercise tact, good judgment and sensitivity both in-person and on the telephone.
