In this FX Broker job, you will be joining a hugely successful and established foreign exchange specialist. With offices in Holland, Spain, France, Canada, and HQ here in the UK, they’re a major player in the FX space. Along the way the business has made strategic acquisitions and caught the attention of an international Private Equity firm, they’re well-funded and continue to pursue highly ambitious growth plans. Having transacted £5 billion in funds last year alone, the business is now growing out their regional team based in beautiful Cornwall. You will be the newest member of their corporate FX broking desk, trained through their graduate scheme to build, refine, and hone your sales ability and understanding of the FX market - essentially giving you the keys to a successful career in FX.

Key responsibilities - FX Broker

In this Graduate Fx Broker job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Researching and qualifying potential clients to build a database of leads, using a variety of mediums including use of the Internet, trade directories, referrals, and networking
  • Via cold calling, you will engage and consult on our non-regulated FX products with business owners and C-level executives of SME, medium, or large businesses, across multiple sectors
  • You will identify the FX needs of the client and provide qualified follow-up opportunities to the wider Corporate sales teams
  • You will develop trusted relationships with clients to retain their business and grow your portfolio of clients
  • You will administer and maintain relevant and accurate information that reflects client conversations and fact-finding activities
  • You will ensure information is accurately entered into the CRM system
  • You will develop and maintain a good working relationship with all staff
  • You will attend and support corporate functions, where required
  • You will identify and raise areas of training you feel you require, if an area of the business is not fully understood
  • Any other duties, as required from time to time, in order to fully deliver in your role
