Web Developer - HTML, CSS, JavaScript

£35,000 - £45,000

PLEASE CONTACT

Luke Willoughby

I am a Recruitment Consultant at Give A Grad A Go, focusing on speaking to new clients across the FinTech and Finance sectors, and helping exceptional candidates find graduate jobs they love.

My area of expertise

I sit on the Corporate desk, working predominantly in the FinTech and Finance spaces. Both are exceptionally exciting industries, because a lot of clients are disrupting the current status quo of existing finance companies, by utilising the latest technological advancements. This means that a lot of exciting young companies are looking to recruit graduates.

Why I chose to work at Give A Grad A Go

I have worked in recruitment previously, but Give A Grad A Go stood out because it focuses on helping candidates fresh out of university find amazing graduate jobs. This means that there is a real sense of satisfaction in speaking to passionate graduates, helping them to decide what they want to do and giving them the direction and the means to achieve it. Plus, the team and working environment here is second-to-none - it’s a company that I am truly proud to represent.

The worst job I've had

I once worked for a PR company over a summer holiday reviewing thousands of people singing "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" for a Pringles campaign. My job was to watch each one until the end and cut out all the unnecessary bits. Now whenever I hear that song I cringe – they didn’t even end up using the video as part of the campaign!
