Key Responsibilities - Finance Analyst

In this Finance Analyst job in London, you will be responsible for:

  • Reconciling all custody asset holdings for both managed funds and listed securities

    to third party statements, to prescribed frequencies
  • Ensuring all asset reconciliation discrepancies are investigated and resolved in an

    accurate and timely manner
  • Contacting asset data providers as necessary to obtain outstanding third party

    statements from custodians/keepers of registers
  • Documenting, monitoring, and escalating (where necessary) unreconciled custody

    asset items
  • Ensuring all daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation deadlines are achieved;
  • Assisting in the timely and accurate production of the Client Money and Assets

    Return (as prescribed by SUP 16.14)
  • Producing accurate and relevant Management Information that tracks volumes,

    issues and errors

Job Requirements - Finance Analyst

  • Academic excellence, you will have graduated from university with a 2.1
  • Financial, Economics, Maths or related degrees preferred
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Knowledge of CASS is a plus
  • Relative financial services experience/internship is a plus
  • A genuine interest in Financial services
  • The ability to prioritise a varied workload - you will be confident managing and evaluating your time
  • A confident communicator, you enjoy speaking with anyone and everyone!
  • A can-do and positive attitude - you’re not fazed by commercial targets
  • A real team player, you’re inspired and engaged by collective success
