Job description

In this graduate Energy Project Engineer job, you will be reporting directly to the Managing Director, liaising with a range of clients on a daily basis. You will be getting stuck in from the onset - working on existing schemes, supporting new builds and installing systems. This isn’t an entry-level engineering role as you know it; it’s a fantastic opportunity to develop your knowledge of the expanding energy market, whilst working to identify opportunities to improve performance in the future.

Key responsibilities

In this Energy Project Engineer opportunity in London, your responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing existing energy network performance
  • Identifying opportunities to improve performance with quantifiable measures
  • Working with sub-contractors to obtain quotes
  • Carrying out on-site energy testing and project managing improvements
  • Liaising with clients and the design team to propose improvements and explain analysis

Job requirements

  • A Chemical Engineering graduate from a top 15 university
  • Ideally a MSc, or previous industry experience
  • Technical knowledge of thermodynamics and energy
  • Superb numerical and analytical skills
  • A confident communicator who is able to liaise with clients and sub-contractors directly
  • A keen interest in saving energy and acknowledgement of the environmental impact
  • A familiarity with programming languages (e.g. Pandas, R) would be ideal
