As a Key Account Manager, I work with some of Give A Grad A Go's larger clients, placing graduates who are looking to break into the Banking & Finance or FinTech sphere.

My area of expertise

I work with such a huge a variety of clients that it's hard to pinpoint my particular area of expertise! But I particularly enjoy finding graduates a job they love in an area they hadn't originally thought about.

I was comletely blown away by the team, work ethic and job opportunities - I quickly decided I wanted in! The worst job I've had

My worst job has to be when I was a security guard at a (now in administration) shoe warehouse. At 5"3 it was pretty bleak. My months' trial resulted in more shoes being stolen than ever before.

Job description

In this Data Analyst graduate job you will be working closely with senior management, taking on a wide range of data-driven tasks and providing valuable reports to several different teams. You'll need to be both highly analytical and a great communicator, as your role will involve analysing the current auto-motive market, assessing key trends, creating reports, and presenting your findings to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

In this Data Analyst graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with internal teams (especially pricing) to discuss market analysis and market trends
  • Ensuring that a fair and achievable price is guaranteed and recommended for wider business strategy
  • Producing valuation reports for wider departments to ensure customers can buy in a smarter way
  • Presenting back to management of core findings – ensuring this is supported by clear and concise documentation
  • Using Google Sheets and Excel daily to formulate data for commercial purposes

Job requirements

  • A minimum of a 2.1 from a top (ideally Russell Group) university, in Engineering or Mathematics
  • Someone who is both analytical and pragmatic
  • You must be willing to work 11 am – 8 pm
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal – you will be presenting your finding back on a regular basis
  • Previous experience in a position that required strong numerical skills (e.g. as a consultant or analyst)
  • The desire to work in a fast-paced start-up
  • Experience using google sheets and excel
  • Familiarity with BigQuery and SQL would be a real plus!
  • A proactive worker who isn’t afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in!
