In this Clinical Associate role in London, we are working with a growing and well-funded Health-Tech start-up who are trying to improve the health and well-being of people living with chronic conditions. They have recently funded one of the world’s largest observational trials in Medical Cannabis. They’re a small but highly experienced team and are now looking to expand by hiring a Clinical Associate.

Job description

This health-care job for graduates is an exciting position where you will be working directly with the Co-founder/ Chief Medical Officer. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and high achieving individual to join the team to support in a wide range of clinical functions across the business. You will learn a wide range of skills across clinical operations, supply chain management and clinical communications. If you can balance multiple competing responsibilities at once, are a good problem-solver and care about creating something amazing that will impact peoples’ lives, then this could be the role for you. During Covid-19, this role will be remote.

Please note that this is a one-year fixed term contract initially with possibility of turning full-time.

Key responsibilities

In this Clinical Associate graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Chief Medical Officer in clinical operations, as the first point of contact for external clinical enquires.
  • Managing the end to end prescription fulfillment process and identifying improvements in the flow.
  • Assisting Head of Product in clinical research, project creation and development of clinical products.
  • Supporting the Head of Market Development in the Clinical Partnerships pipeline.
  • Any programming experience in Python, C# would be highly desirable, but not essential.

Job requirements

  • You have a degree in medicine, relevant medical sciences or a healthcare related qualification.
  • Experience working in healthcare or similar would be a bonus.
  • You should be a good communicator, willing to learn quickly and have good organisational skills.
  • You are passionate about what you do and want to make an impact.
  • You are a team player but can also work independently.
  • You thrive in a communication role.
  • You understand the UK Healthcare system.
